Hey guys!
Don't know if this has been covered before. I have a line on a set of well used original waffle grips (the ones that say Harley Davidson) and I have a set of 1 inch bars for a bike I am building. I think it says that the original grips are for a 1 1/8 inch bar. Has anyone ever made a sleeve or something that would adapt the older grips that usually use an internal throttle assembly to a inch bar that usually has an external throttle assembly? Thanks, Jay |

An "external' regular throttle for a 1" handlebar uses a 1-1/8" grip. On the clutch side you will have to improvise and make a sleeve. To cover the step I would use a handlebar ring that simulates the chrome ring on a set of internal bars. Either Kustom Tech in Italy or Hammer Sycle in Japan make those. I have them in stock
