Thanks guys,

Good news is it all together and running like a champ. I had a ton of issues with the carb float and ignition/timing, all minor but took a week to get them all figured out. As of last week I fitted the last part which was the custom bent bars with custom made internal throttle, i'm just finishing up the cables over the next few nights then its complete and ready to ride so photos aren't far off.

In the meantime here's sneak peak and a photo of a cool moment. This photo is me and my good friend Steve fitting the last piece of the puzzle. He made the bars and throttle for me and rode 500mile round trip to drop them off and see the bike. What's quite neat is we met through this forum over 7 years ago and without his help i couldn't have built what i have.

Saw this when you posted the other day on IG!

I've seen that guys work, he does some superb stuff! super cool he did that. 500 miles is no joke to deliver some bars!

Bike looks great, can't wait to see her running!

Yeah i was pretty lucky my mate Bill was there and grabbed the photo. Steve is an insane engineer and one whos been into these bikes since literally a child, im very fortunate to have him as a good friend as he's helped me with this bike immensely.

Close now mate, i think i may ride it for the first time tomorrow all going well.

Yeah I've seen a lot of his work, superb! it's great he's been a voice of calm for you no doubt. I had similar help off several members on here with my pan and flatty. Albeit they didn't come to visit me, ocean and all that! haha.

Fingers crossed mate, look forward to seeing it rolling down the road!

Looks just about perfect. I hope you get a long, trouble- and plague-free summer's worth of riding out of it. And beyond, of course.

... But it looks like the screws retaining your primary inspection plate are mismatched. The horror!

Just gazing at the bike again. Beautiful build and I can't believe how shinny it is and not a thing out of place. Now go get some dirt and oil on the bike.
