I have searched and can't find a definitive answer. I really like the smooth cover, would it if I can find a good OEM one fit? I'm not well versed in variance.

I had a ribbed cover on my 39ulh
And switched to smooth as was not correct for year

Yes, it will fit. There's reproductions of these out there, V Twin at 350 USD or Motortechnic at 580 euros.

I've seen the repops Zee, I'd want an OEM, but again as Rich said, may upset people if I run an earlier cover.. I'll keep my eyes peeled!
