The black bike: What's going on with the timing cover? I don't see a magneto in the usual place, and obviously there's a drive housing on the front.

it's an ARD belt drive magneto cover......

so the magneto sits inboard at the front where the stock dynamo would fit, safe from damage if the bike is dropped on it's side,....
