^That's what its about for some of us, having a good time playing with motorcycles. Show and tell time.

Phase one is complete, im thinking this will take 3. Phase 2 is replacing the stem and everything involved to go on the frame.

checking in with a couple of pics. nothing has been done with the girder since the last update, i did however get wheels and tires for the bike now so that is off the parts list... today i made a new spot for the clutch cable on the arm so everything will line up.

You're not gonna get far on that tire.

That's what I was thinking, but I'd like to know more about it, haven't seen one on a bike before. Looks like one of the tires used on old dry lakes cars.

That's a brand new coker firestone ribbed tyre I imagine. I see them quite often, super popular, not sure how great they are in the wet though!

The front tire is a Coker Firestone as rhys says, a few reviews out there, no complaints from what i have found. If it is sketchy i will let you all know. For the rear tire i went with a Firestone ANS 5.00-16

edit: my front tire is 300-21, they make 275-21 also...

Dang. I thought I was looking at a tube, not a tire. My post was meant to be a microscopic joke. No offense.

Guess just not that popular in my part of the world. Do much shit on the roads, its bad enough with a 3.00 x 21 speedmaster. I do like the look of the tire reminds me of old traditional rods.

Mightyfine. An engineless chopper often looks like there's something missing. Something elusive, but necessary.

Would it be an inconvenience to put up a plain ol' side shot of the bike entire? Does its location allow you to step back far enough? Looks like a possibly hazardous place to walk backwards in, I wouldn't ask you to risk life and limb for a 90 photograph.

No inconvenience at all, also with the motor in place i got to mount the gas tanks where they needed to be and to get a full turn without the front end smashing in to the gas tanks.

That bike is a rolling "fuck you if you can't take a joke" with a big grin. It's profoundly hooliganoid. I think it's the fender that does it. I'll have a medal struck to honor your bold & visionary fuck-you concept.

Did you already show us, back a few pages, what you're doing with the exhausts? I'm expecting a further fart in the face of enforced civility.

Hahaa that's a great description of it Ratso. About the exhausts... well since the tail lights are square i have a vision of square mufflers on drag pipes to go with them...
