the tag you show is Motorcycle Storehouse number, it is for 80-E84 XL, L82-84 FL & FX & it replaces 63782-80 & 63810-80A

part no 580471 in motorcycle storehouse
I usually get them off ebay, most of the times listed for generic use - triumph.

I use the same one on my JBROSG oil pump filter cover or the longer ones would hit the transmission....

That fucking filter drives me batshit because I can't ever find a good automotive replacement.
If someone comes up with a good cross (even if it's longer!) I'd be indebted.

Enough hits on the net ..perhaps you have to grind down the hex thickness a bitt or just loose it completely.

Ok
Spent all morning hunting Found your filter Dutch (Renault Clio) Stumped on the adaptor some guy can make one but. Then found A shop Só solution is buy adaptor online (its 20mm not 22) Ordered the Harley filter For this oil change then next change I convert once I’ve checked specs on Mann filter Just ordered the ring £1.74 from china (free postage) just have to wait a month to get it

While you're looking at that other filter you should check it's specifications. The reason you use a interchange is to get the same micron and if a bypass, which these filters are, the same bypass pressure. Just making it fit could come back and bite you in the ass.

Good one Joe , isn’t there anything you don’t think over.
The filtration rate is 9 micron, compared to 20 on the one you linked , the bypass is way higher but being honoust i did not Thought that would be a problem..before i knew the filtration rating
