Something cool to do in Dallas?

Hello Guys, Im Patrick from Argentina and im Crashing some months on my friends house here in Mesquite, dallas. I dont know nobody here (beside my friends) so im looking places to visit and meet people in the custom bike scene.
Also i do photography and i would love to do some pictures of shops, garages or anything related to bikes, at least that keeps me away from buying junk i cant ship back to my country.

Any cool ideas? Thanks!

Bates is a salvage yard. They were in Garland, TX but have moved. Lots of parts. I stepped over 4 or 5 complete Triumph motors the last time I was there.
