His bikes always look pretty, but aesthetics never come before practicality and sound design. I'm a surveyor for a living, I thrive off practical workable solutions, not the "stick on pussy" approach, where things look great but will fucking fall off after 5 minutes. Paint is beautiful, again the guy who painted it is known for amazing work so I don't doubt his craftsmanship. Sissy looks too tall and skinny for such a short bike. I don't get the tall thin sissy bars. I've got 1/2" squared because I don't want it to go floppy in the warm weather!! Lovely looking though.. but please sort that brake pedal.. like a death wish.. |

Do i see RAISED "pinstripes" on the frame ? Lines with diamonds ? Like done with steel ?
Or are they actual pinstripes ?

Good eye. It is all moldy.. the whole frame is really tricked with subtle dtails like that. Reminicent of 70’s show stuff. Very similar to my red pan survivor.

Very cool pan, I too would ditch the sissy bar. Is the frame completely uncut? The rear brake set up is death. Love the look of the whole bike. Please let us know how well those lights work and what are they.

Been there done that on setting up a mag. I first put a mag on my pan about 13 years ago and there was little to nothing on the net how to do it. None of my friends knew how and the graybeards I new all told me not to do it. After a few thousand kicks I finally figured it out. I now run mags on everything and once you know what you're doing they are no harder to start.
One trick however once you get it all right. On my pan, I tighten the bolt on the clamp to where I can just barely still turn the mag so you can retard it when starting, then advance when it lights. I have never had it come loose it stays where I set it, but if you get it too loose it will retard on its own. On my cone shovel I just used nylocks on the nuts holding down the mag. Being able to easily retard at starting without a wrench makes all the difference. |

First, glad you’re better and back at it my friend. Second, glad I can finally get back on here myself. Third , really like all these bikes your playing with and fourth can you really buy Kuryaken (or however you spell it) at Walmart?

New brake pedal setup. I'm using a panga speed reverser thingy for the other side of the brake crossover shaft to make this pedal work. Slick at snail shit.
