I always thought you got a decent value when buying your bobber kit in the 2006-2009 era. I mean you were less than $13000 with a running, good-looking bike.

I'm still wanting either a Scorcher or full Chopper frame for a Big Twin.
Can you do that when you get done with the recent batch of Smokin' Guns?

I already have one of those for my Ironhead motor!!
A friend of mine was always raving about how great another company's frames were, that had been in business forever. So I got one for future use,and let's just say that I was less-than-impressed.The welds are nasty, ugly, some are incomplete, many have undercut. The pics I made are shocking.
When I look at the welds on my two Flyrite frames,I'm left wishing that I could do tig that perfectly. Those welds are masterful.Whoever actually does them,my hat is off to you.Very nice work.

No,I don't work for Flyrite.

I haven been on here much, and took some well needed time off....started racing moto-x, enduros and flat track. Got way into flat track again and have been wrenching for an old pro friend of mine I used to wrench for in the 90's. He's still going strong but playing golf more. I am building frames for the Expert Twins class, two at the moment, one for the Kawasaki 650 and the new Yamaha FZ7. The Yamaha may be the one to clean house in 2015. I still like the XR's though, but Herrera Racing doesnt have deep pockets. ;-) They will still have a top notch frame though :-)

Ive been making frames again for the last couple of months and am working on new parts and bringing back some of the old.

I'd like to see what you're doing for the twins, sounds like a fun gig. That Yam motor looks intriguing.

I think this year for AMA Pro Flat Track is going to be stellar, with more factory backing, a new engine and more attention has been shown to it.

I think a real flat track frame on the street would be really fun. ;-)
