Headlight bracket and wheel spacers done. New headlight arrived today, mocked and mounted. Pretty happy with it. I'm not 100% on the tank and looking for other options before getting it permanently mounted. Need to figure out brake stay situation on the drum. Oil tank and regulator mount, Fender and seat pan so I can get the frame prepped for powder coating.

Looking good J, Have you given the narrow Trump tanks a thought? Nice shape to em. The CF tanks are nice, I have two, my wife runns one on her bobber and its nice BUT I don't know... it doesn't really look like it belongs there. I think its the kind of tank that need to be fitted to the bike, fill in the gaps better I guess. Light mock up is just right, the springer does look nice.

Thanks Lester! Yeah I'll have to stop by the local triump shop and see if there's anything I can use or chop. I'm thinking something like this bike made by Cro customs. Maybe even splitting a banana wassell tank might just work.

Just me, But the original tank is what caught my eye , maybe cut off the original tabs and come up with a little cleaner mounting , But originally in the start of the thread I was going to ask you where the tank came from, For me in the future . Glad I didn't now

Thinking about putting in a 7/8 or 1" bar to create some bmx/hollywood style bars.

Love the mockup phase.

I've been following you builds and can't say enough on the work and attention to detail! Looks great and I wouldn't change a thing... Love the look and most importantly the stance and if for what ever reason you don't like it I'll take it off your hands ;-) (serious).

Front brake is a beauty mate, if a goat was pulling a billycart. Get fucken real!! Go spool or a real brake mate!! Actually I'm surprised anyone would spend the money to buy the spokes to lace that stupid little fucken brake, let alone the lever, cable etc to make it even more ridiculous.
Hey I like the bike though.

Stood up on the wrong side of the bed today Daddy boy?
Maybe it would be an idea to keep in mind he is building the bike for himself and not for you. Ease up just a tad

Brake stop in place on my BillyCart wheel

Piece cut out of an old sissy bar to give that bmx style look on the handlebar. Acts a s a stabilzer as well. I'm contemplating if I should have went with a thicker 7/8" bar?
