Default oil tank pressurized, way pressurized! help?

I have a evo sporty and the oil tank has so much pressure it pops the cap u cant even ride the fuck'n thing. just got it runni'n. tank to small? breather gear? oil pump? Thanks.

I believe there is a vent line that runs from the bottom up to the top of the inside of the tank (above the oil level). Be sure that this line is not pinched or it could contribute to your problem. If I remember correctly, this is the line that goes to the rear of the cam cover with a 90* elbow.

Edit: Yep, I was correct I just looked at my motor.

I had my crankshaft "breather" line stucked and it popped out the cap from the oil tank.

no breather gear on an evo sporty..... so heres where ya need to look:

you have pressure, too much pressure....this means the crankcase is NOT breathing....
is it the head breathers or the case breather???....

did you change anything?...
did you add anything?....
did you take anything away?....

it might sound like those last three questions are all the same, but they aren't.... something is different from stock, and that's where the problem is

To much oil in tank. Manual says around 3qts, run 2 1/2. Wife did that when she decided to change the oil.

Last one I saw like this was a blocked return hose with a piece of papertowel in it....
