Hardcore...duh.
I've seen this bike around in Red Bank, NJ. It's very convincing until you see the electric starter. With all the chatter about swastikas, etc. this bike has none, but it says what it says, loud and clear. And I've never seen anyone give him any grief over it. Pretty cool ride. It's for sale on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-R...em160193189005

Lol...guess you were too busy laughing to notice the paint job. That's all I was referring to. Gotta give the guy a B+ for balls, running that paint in these PC times.

I don't think the average person knows enough about the panzer division , or rommel , or desert nazi pant schemes to know what the fuck they were looking at . Unless it was an actual swastika , I think it would just look like an old bike with funny paint to most people .

I will say that rommel and hitler sure weren't each others biggest fans, but I would def. rock it if it was the original thing for history's sake. Oh well.

I just think it's Weak (not hardcore) that he cannot type out "Chang Jiang 750", but rather, deceptively lists it as a '69 BMW. Never pay again for live sex! | Hot girls doing naughty stuff for free! | Chat for free! |

I think you may have missed the irony. Yes, it's a lame Chinese knock-off. Yes, the guy, who I don't even know, is a bullshit artist with his description and should probably get his listing pulled by eBay. No, it's not mine. No, I don't think anyone on JJ is fooled. You have to admit that the bike has a seriously twisted paint job and detailing. Same paint, etc., on the correct bike would raise a few eyebrows.

PC = period correct. Which can be just as annoying as the other PCer's
There are a couple Beemer guys in the Reading PA region that drive war era flats with German markings. Reason a lot of people don't give grief is there is a difference between the WWII German army and Nazi's (SS). Rommel was german army, not SS. Afrika Corps was army not SS. The army usually conflicted with the SS. He mis-communicated that they were SS insignias as the were not. Though being on a Chinese machine, it would probably be more appropriate to have Nazi markings. It was a little hokey about how he is trying to pass it off as a piece of history. But more woe to the sucker that falls for it. |

The real sad part is that it is getting bids. It should be dressed out for the Red Army.

There's a big difference in public perception between somebody riding and displaying a "restored" foreign military vehicle with German swatikas, Japanese battle markings, or Red Chinese stars, and some grubby guy on a chopper with a swastika painted on each side of his Sporty tank.
One the public sees as a "preserver" or "historian", the other they see as a bum. Notice the group of guys (and their age) around this piece, I doubt any of them were saying to themselves "Look at this asshole....." |

Thats real F*#K. All that work in to what could be a nice bike! 24hp Flatty. They are fun to ride. Love mine, but i would never put that shit on a Chines military bike. That is what it is. I see this alot. Its not cool. A real R75 or R61 frome WWII would be cool with that paint(well the correct paint). 69 CJ750 did not have electric start or reverse. that came along in 85 or so. This dude is a dick!
