Default what triumph rear wheel set ups are you running?

I'm looking for some different rear wheel options for a unit triumph. Mainly 18' or larger.

Are you looking for a complete rear wheel or just different rim options ? Stock was either a 18" or 19" depending on model . I have seen guys with everthing from 15" - 19" rear wheels .

The options are endless as stated above, but the stock rear wheels were 16" and 18". It all depends on the year, and what look your going for.

I have WM-2 19 inch Dunlop rims laced to a Conical hub in the rear and a stock disk front. rolling on 100/90-19 tires front and rear.

Lacing a front rim to the rear conical hub was not all that difficult.

I was thinking about trying to lace something up. I really like the looks of the avon mk2's and firestone tires.

check out this link and scroll down . . .

Rear wheel is stock Unit Triumph laced to a 19" loop

originally both front and rear tires were 400-19 firestone deluxe champions. rear wheel is stock Unit Triumph laced to a 19" loop. i hated how the firestones tracked on freeway rain grooves, so now we roll with 350-19, k70 dunlops. not as cool looking, but they behave a lot better.

i don't think they make 400-19s in k70 or i'd have gone with that.

Buchanan's Spoke & Rim supplied the rims, spokes and labor. they've been lacing wheels since the 50s. and are the best. they're located in Azusa, CA

their site address is: www.buchananspokes.net/

and their labor fees are posted here:

Originally i was gonna change mine to a 16 but after i got it together i kind of liked the skinny taller look. I am running a 110/90 -18 with my stock Triumph 18" wheel.

I took the front fender and flipped it on the back and the proportions look good to me. Saved some $$$ and im super happy with the way it came out after the chrome brake drum and some heavy duty cleaning. Im curious to see what you pick.

This is a 450X18" Firestone DC with a BSA/QD brake. bought the SSspokes from Buchanan, laced it myself.Found it easier than a Harley wheel to lace

I think I'm gonna go with an 18 harley rim i have and lace it to the original triumph. I also like the way that the front fender look and fits for the back. Thanks for the Buchanan's site I think i will go that route.

Just ordered a set of Roland Sands misson wheels for my 650 project. 19x2.15 front and 18x4.25 rear they are for a Harley but I'm going to make them work.

Ive got a unit bolt up hub laced to an 18" borrani, with a dunlop K70 on it. Hows that for an option?

This is a 4.00-19 Pirelli on a WM2 Dunlop rim with stock triumph cotton spool hub. I powder coated the rim and hub with "chrome" powder and then laced it up with SS spokes from buchanan's.
