Alternator mount plate done ,next mark blind holes and align.

Got my new stand today.Stripped it and greased im pleased with it(P.R.C. of course)

Never built a wheel before but was surprisingly easy (but did alot of reading on subject before hand)

Eventually got it within 1mm(up and side to side) took 4 hours maybe (but trued next day as i needed a beer after building)

...hello, I have a 48. I see that you put an alternator there, so I have couple of questions:
-to what I know there s no alternator that you can fit inside the original chain cover, so when you say that you cannot use the base behind confused me...
-Is it a 6V or you ll convert anything to 12v?
With the chain covers there s no place for that, so do you let all the stuff open?

Im not that familiar with pre unit im running a belt drive with no inner primary cover
engine is 58 so normally alternator bolts to inner primary cover .
so i altered mounting plate to fit engine case look at pics closely i will post more when finished (tomorrow maybe)
i had no charging system bought a sparks kit with mounting plate 12 v
