My modest offering this week. I was just playing around, and I wanted to do an old club style belt, and it gave me the opportunity to try out dyeing leather with a two-tone look, as well as sewing the edges. The letters were a bitch to cut.
I dont know anything about leatherworking (would love to learn) but what do you mean you had to cut the letters out? Do I understand you physically cut out the letters to show the tan letter underneith If so, then did you glue the centers of the "O"s and "A"s and what-not onto the tan leather?
Or did you mean that you cut out leatherworking tools?
Really turned out nice, I like it alot!!!

Dang man, you took my idea! Although I'm sure we're not the first to design a "Lucky Bastard" helmet. Here's a mock-up I put together a while back for a helmet I never got around to finishing. I got the numbers done on the ears and still need to do the horseshoe and text on the back. Great work by the way.
