Lowbrow Customs Video Product Review Contest - Win this helmet!

Here is the skinny. You film and upload a video product review about something that you bought from Lowbrow (a t-shirt, Biltwell helmet, DVD, whatever!) and upload it to YouTube. We will use some of the video reviews on our website, giving you widespread fame amongst a very small percentage of motorcyclists, who are almost all guys. Congratulations. We will pick the most entertaining and creative product review and the winner will get a custom painted Biltwell, Inc. novelty helmet by Shawn at Imperial House 71! This is over a $200 value and a one-off piece of art, so put some effort into it, slacker! You have until end-of-day October 31st, 2010 to get your video online, and we will pick the winner by Friday, November 5th, 2010. We will be sure to hook up other noteworthy entries with prizes as well. A few brief guidelines:

1.) Keep the length of the video review under one minute. Even 30 seconds is fine! Brief but chock-full of meaty info
2.) Be as creative as you want! Remember, this is a contest, the most creative and entertaining product review wins!
3.) These are reviews, be honest, if there is something you don't like about the product, tell us! A good way to do it is to mention Pros and Cons so it doesn't just look like you are trying to score some free stuff.
4.) Upload the video to YouTube and include 'lowbrow customs review' in the tags so we can find it, also add any other pertinent tags about the product you are reviewing. Fill out the title and description fields as to what you are reviewing and put www.lowbrowcustoms.com in the video description when you upload it.

You can email the YouTube link of your uploaded video to [email protected] to make sure I have your entry. Thanks!

Axed 2.2 gal Dual Cap Chopper Motorcycle Gas Tank

http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/index...._detail&p=1062

This classic chopper gas tank is a 2.2 gallon Axed tank. It has a bit of a bulbous appearance and sits up pretty high on your frame's backbone. This is the dual cap version and accepts any stock cam-style filler caps and has both a 3/8" NPT and 1/4" NPT petcock bungs. The tunnel, at deepest, is 3.5" deep. The mounting tabs are undrilled, allowing you to drill and mount your tank exactly how you want it. These are a very nice quality tank, perfect for your home built chopper project.

Dirty Magazine Issue 1

http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/index...._detail&p=1092

I think Lowbrow may be the only place in the USA that has this magazine as of yet...

This is the first issue of Dirty Magazine out of the UK. It is a great magazine, very well designed and laid out, with a good mix of content that will be of interest to anyone who likes old stuff, including motorcycles! Here is the intro from the issue:

"It's a celebration of old shit and the people who rescue it, collect it, mend it, kick it and shout at it, but ultimately love it. The making and fixing of things is a skill we are fast losing. We are increasingly alienated from how things are made, and how they work - the design of modern everyday objects is deliberate in perpetuating this ignorance. There is a growing movement in reaction to this and this magazine is here to cater to that very need! In this issue we set out our stall - dirty cars and bikes, sleazy rock'n'roll, enviable collections and hand-made wonders. Get your hands dirty and enjoy! The Dirty Mag team."

Digest size, 52 pages of full color

Instigator Peanut Gas Tank - Deep Tunnel

http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/index...._detail&p=1120

The Instigator Peanut Tank, this is the deep tunnel version to sit low on your frame. These are styled after the classic Wassell peanut tank, though these feature a '74 and later screw in American style gas cap bung and a 3/8" NPT petcock bung. The overall tank measurements are 14" long by 9" wide and 7-1/2" tall, and the tunnel is 1-3/4" wide. Holds about 2 gallons. These are hand made 100% in the USA in Michigan at the Detroit Bros. shop.

Kyle runs one of these exact tanks on his 1967 Triumph Bonneville Salt Flats race bike, and it has performed flawlessly for him.

Kung Fu 7/8" Grips by Biltwell, Inc.

http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/index....st&sortby=&m=4

From the mouth of Biltwell: "We believe motorcycle grips should be simple and comfortable. These BMX-inspired units are exactly that. Thick ends are durable, small flanges are attractive and a million little rubber fins are comfy."

One grip is 7/8" OD and the other 1" OD to slip over your throttle.

$17.99 per pair, available in black or natural gum rubber

1" grips will be available in about 6 weeks!
