Here is another angle of the finned timing covers with polished spacer in place...

I see a new trend coming. Buy stock in angry monkey. Don't want to be sitting around like the other guys who say. "Should have bought stock in trojan condoms before HIV..."
Thanks Jaws

These are cut from billet.

Thanks much RH. This client has let me go nuts on this bike. He will see it for the first time at Barbers Vintage fest in a couple weeks. He is beside himself with excitement too.

Very sweet! Your primary spacer had me to looking too.
Good stuff. Have you thought about finned motor mounts for pre unit too. To my novice knowledge these are only offered for Unit.
Lester
I will post up on this thread when I receive the first sell-able batch of proper covers.

That is correct! Joe is a super guy, and I try to support his work whenever possible. I have used his finned mounts on many bikes, and have a set in hand for my factory rigid project, which is back on the back-burner......again.

Billet is cool, but having a background in both gray iron and aluminum casting, I was kind of hoping they were cast. I imagine either way they would be expensive.

Here is a close-up of the brake lever pivot/perch/switch. This was another little detail that I mentioned early on, but am just getting around to showing completely finished. This looks so much better than the plain nut hanging out there, that It will be standard on our bikes from here out.

Yeah, I went with billet over cast since I had already bought some pre unit CNC'd finned gennie timing covers from this guy and they were too fantastic to pass up.

Thanks! Those foot rests are Pro-Taper. They make them for several different brands of bikes. Not for vintage triumphs, of course. I modified some factory footrest sets to accept them.

Thanks Rob! Here is a preview of Rich's work (before clear) for this bike. This one is going to be out of control!

Haha! You guys are too much. Thanks though. Just a reminder; check all aspects of all parts you use on your motor. Trust no one and no part. This is what I found inside a brand new oil pressure relief valve. How did plastic swarf even get in there? There is not even any plastic in this part?!?

Where did you get it from, is an aftermarket or pattern?

I'm not sure where it was made, but I bought it from Coventry spares. It's all good though since I caught it in time.

Almost ready for Barbers. Tins and saddle are all I lack now. Kinda biggies, I know
