Question Connecting Rod ID 24296-74??

This set of connecting rods came with a pile of parts I picked up, having trouble identifying exactly what they they are from. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

So out of the pile of pan and shovel parts I picked up, this set of rods is Jap? 24296-52's are K model, just trying to figure out what these things are. Appreciate any actual info instead of some stupid response. Thanks.

I thought it was a humorous reference to JA Prestwich rods.

Wouldn't those "casting" numbers actually be forging numbers

I know this thread is old, however I wanted to answer the original question. These rods are from an 74-82 shovelhead. 7.440" is what they should measure
