I have the same problem.... have a bunch of bars in the garage and dont like any.

I'll end up chopping some to bits and tac weld together, take it apart, try again, etc... till i get to something I like. then do it properly.

When I was dating my current wife 1999, that I met in a BAR, had a left hand BAR come off in my hand, while doing 70 mph on the freeway, on a 70 FLH. We were riding from one BAR to another BAR with two piece Bars.

Originally I intended to make a set of Clip ons that went between the Trees.Wasn't sure how to shorten these Jap Forks,so I just pushed them up through the Trees.I made somewhat of a modified Clip on.I like them.
