Some people just don't want to read I guess.

This search is great, always hit "advanced search" and if you remember any detail like a username or key word from a thread you can narrow it down.

For example (related), search "drag" in just thread-titles...

The bike is apart and being cleaned up, NOT painted... but just cleaned off... it will get reassembled so it's a runner.

Shawn said the carb is some expensive Harley carb... the rear slick is a retread that has been worn down. They did say they found a vintage Avon slick for the back... but were not sure of they were going to replace it.

I'll send the owners a link and see if they want to chime in with details about the bike and all of its history. They have news clippings, programs and such with thie bike in it running at Kingdon. I don't believe it ever ran with the blower. They have all the paperwork on the blower, sales reciept etc. when it was bought new in the 50's. They have known the guy they bought it from for years... and he bought the bike brand new.

They aren't sure about the origin of the fuel tank... There was also a tank they got with it that had two round tubes and says "One Hung Low" on the side of it!
