Definitely my favourite swing arm bike! Funny thing it looked great every step along the way.

It would be interesting to watch you riding that thing down the road and see just how much that sissy bar moves when you're soaking up the bumps. What diameter round stock did you use for that?

I used 1/2" stainless rod.
I knew the tall sissy bar would be a bit of a tuning fork and might have the tendancy to "work" the fender while it moves and vibrates. Yesterday it ripped the fender clean off at front mount on the swingarm. I welded in a doubler piece in the begining, but looks like I'll be welding in a MUCH bigger one today that's gonna be a second wall, covering most of the inside of the fender. Live and learn and repaint and ride!

Already working on it...nothing's ever finished. Just about got the fender fixed and well reinforced this time. Gonna need to be repainted next...and who knows what else.

Yes, Jimmy's car is in front of Curtis'. I have been good friends with Jimmy for about 10 years and worked with/for him for for a few of those. Jimmy's hemi powered Model A is fun to drive...to say the least! He just got it out of a long hibernation.

Oh, and I need a left side drum brake lower and then I'll shave the fender mounts and polish them.

This was version 3.0

Well, whether you are cool or not your bike Version 4 there is very cool indeed. Nicest swingarm shovel I have ever seen.

Not bad, I drag other stuff before ever getting scary with the tire.
