Default My new sled

I don't post very often, as the guys I always talked to a lot passed away. Anyway, I just picked up this old Shovel. As it should be, kick start only. Obviously, I will do some things to make it "mine", but it seems like a solid old scoot. It was built in the 90's by an Air Force Crew Chief, sold to a Fighter Pilot (now an airline pilot) and then to me, and I am a retired Air Force Crew Chief. The guy I bought it from has had it for 25 years. It will make a fine addition to my stable of bikes. At least I'll have a Shovel to ride, and one to tinker with (1977 FXS Low Rider) going back as stock as I can get it.

Hey sir!

that's a great looking scoot! of course you have to make it your own.. I mean where's the fun if you don't.

Please post as you go along with changes you're going to make!

Fully agree, that's a solid machine and an interesting story.
