I rang a welder mate and asked him a few questions. He said the amount I have washed it out is about 10 times more then he has done before. So I washed it out two more times and in the last I let the hose run for about 5 minutes.
I then filled it with water about 1 from the top and cut into the split as instructed to by my buddy with the grinder. I tiged it then went over it again with filler rod and cooled it with the air gun.
Best part is I still have both eyebrows and all my fingers and thumbs and only minimal paint damage to the underside.
Thanks for all the input and guidance fellas.
