Please do a build thread. I really enjoy your workmanship, and the photos you post!

The man is occupied with his race bike which is where his mind is at at the moment.
So I will as Alp if he could do a thread on his race bike and his experiences, dillemmas and solutions on that subject while we wait. I think the subject is more than fitting for the JJ.

Still hope we see this 56 finished at some point. My favorite Triumph ever.

Wow Alp, another couple of years have flown by and I think about this thread often. Are you still totally tied up with other projects?

Thanks, Dan.

Hey Ridinghood, thanks for the post. I've been following Alp with this and other projects, just kind of like to see this one done but I know he is busy!

Default Redesigning The 1956 Triumph - A Pre Unit Build by Alp

Hi Dan - in case you did not see any of this May's El Mirage photos, Alp gave my Ducati 1350 P-P a shakedown - spun it up to 168.907 - first time he ever even sat on a Ducati. I think there is a bit on this on his Facebook.

I am bringing it up for Bonneville Speed Week - my bud Ivan Rasmussen from Denmark will be riding it. It is #639, a 1098 done up in the world superbike Xerox livery.

Were you by any chance with the group that brought the container of bikes to Bonneville in 2014? If so I talked to you folks at Nugget. I will be staying there again this year, as will be Bill Anderson with his Weslake sidecar.

Joe
