Default Mile Higher Run - Denver, July 17th/18th

A run to end a chop-filled weekend here in Denver next week. Dice Party friday(15th), Love Thy Chopper all day Saturday(16th), then this run sunday and monday.

This is the first year of this run and it's very short notice, but if you are making it to the Rockies for this weekend, feel free to join in on this chopper run and camp-out.

Leaving the Denver area on sunday, the 17th. Riding into the Rockies, 250-300 mile route that'll take us through Rocky Mountain National Park and along both sides of the Continental Divide. Bar/pit stops along the way. Then a camp out at night in an isolated spot, which is still to be determined. We have a few spots to choose from that'll be far enough off of the beaten path to keep any squares/authorities away.

Monday, the 18th, we'll ride back to Denver in the morning after packing up.

This is a Chopper Run, but all bikes are welcome - Leave the H.O.G. patches at home though.

Took a ride today out to the camping spot for the run next sunday. This spot is perfect, it's back in the sticks and it's free. Fire-pits and plenty of space. It's not very far from Denver either, for those of you from the area who want to come along and need to get back that night or early monday morning.

Should be a blast...

I hope you all have a great time this weekend. I have a place in Dillon, but stationed in Italy right now. I'll be looking hard for you all in a few years, when I retire, or in three years when I get back to the states for more duty. Ride On!
