Yep, two sources that I know of:

1) Vtwin - http://www.vtwinmfg.com/Catalog1/VTwinCatalogIndex1.htm

2) Raceframe - http://www.raceframe.com.au/wishbone.html

Why dont you want to buy from V Twin. Yeah some of their parts dont work well. But a ton of their stuff works amazingly well. I know someone that bought axle plates from v twin and made hard tail for a shovelhead with them and they looked and worked great

I won't support V-Twin man, They rip off small builder's parts, have them made oversees, then sell them less than the guy who designed and made them originally... I just can get down with that... You get what you pay for!!

I maybe mistaken but the ends at one time came from corbin gentry(us company) which was making the frames for teds. They are of good quality.Sometimes you have no choice but have to buy from someone you dont want to.There was another person at Davenport this last year makin og style castings and they were of great quality but more than double the price.I have a set of v twin ones right now doing a shovel frame (funny he is from Lville) and you cant beat them.I can respect your stand on said companies but sometimes there is no other way.I will be placing a order by Monday if you end up wanting a set of the vtwin ones let me know.I would be glad to try to help ya.Just let me know.

Could be where these plates are being made Knowing Ted.

Don't know this for a fact..I was told that a fellow in Az. was doing them....
Corbin Gentry was putting the repop frames together. I heard, only heard, that the cast parts were from tawain. I wouldn't doubt it from what ted's sells.

I would rather not deal with Vtwin either, that's why I provided the link for Raceframe. Steve, owner, is in Australia and is making all frame parts, and frames. They are accurate in every detail. I've never seen one, but I've talked to him a few times and look at his website for more information. If I needed frame parts, this is where I'd be buying from: http://www.raceframe.com.au/wishbone.html

When youre on the Raceframe site, notice Aussie dollars are different then US$, they have a money converter at bottom of page. So the axle plates arent really 317.00 , theyre more like 228.00...... bit better. They look to make ober nice stuff.

His stuff is nice.I guess it boils down also to if you are price driven cause if you note that is 228.00 ea not for a pair and vtwins stuff is under 300.00 for the pair. Both have a place in the world if I am doing a chopper the vtwim would be fine with me if a og resto the race frame would fit the bill.

Guess its what it all boils down to if you can live with yourself after buying from the vendor of your choice

I recently bought some wishbone frame parts from RaceFrame, and they are of the highest quality. I talked to Steve the owner at length, and they make everything right there in their own shop. They are really back-ordered right now, so be patient if you don't get a reply email right away. As has been said, use the currency converter to find the price in US Dollars. Shipping is a little more pricey, I used AirMail, cost $26 for a package that weighed maybe 3 to 5 pounds, and took 10 days to get to my door.

I'll explain a little further; I needed the top motor mount/seat T mount/gas tank mount assembly. The one I got from V-twin was pure garbage, none of the holes lined up and it was just a peice of junk that wasted my time. I have very very little good to say about TaiwanTedd and his Chinese shit.

And now the real question, Will. What's wrong with the axle plates you have now? If the tabs for the rear stand have been hacked off and that's what you want repaired, you don't have to replace the entire axle plate, those can be fixed. It would have to be pretty substantial damage to require replacing the entire axle plate. Besides that, it takes a qualified frame repairman to remove and replace frame components, someone with a table, jigs, and fixtures.

Sounds like you're on it. RaceFrame really has nice stuff. More for the restoration crowd.
