Default Stuff I've learned

Hardtails will eventually give you a bad back, sprung seat or not.

Springers bounce, 'specially on bridges.

When you're pulling your scooter out from under a car, a good front brake might have been nice.

Low bikes drag in corners, and sometimes don't make it around them.

Between Clayton, NM and Springer, NM Fatbobs are a LOT cooler than a Sportster tank.

Around the 99th kick, a starter button would be nice.

The more people that are watching you kick, the less likely you scooter is to start.

Bikes run better with the petcock turned on.

When you've been out partying, it's easier to keep a bike up when you put your feet down at a stop light.

The guy in the back of the pack sees more scenery than anyone else.

The guy who works on his bike during the week is usually "luckier" on the road than the guy who doesn't.

Your bike can outrun most of your friends, but it won't outrun everyone. No matter how fast it is.

Chrome may not get you home........but the girls like it.

Any more?????

yeah, i found that one out the hard way.

a few ive learned....

no one is faster than my brother fritz
dont go 'exploring' the hills in ensenada
mulch does a good job of getting oil off tires
a bike on the verge of death can still ride 100s of miles if your crafty enough
it will rain, regardless of the forecast
dont use cheap chain lube, especially without a chain guard
always bring tools
making friends is easy if youre not a dick
karma is real

Dont weld while intoxicated wearing shorts and flip-flops.

Wear gloves in the parts cleaner.

Tighten nuts and bolts on British Bikes regularly.

There's not much better than the first 80 degree day in the spring and the wind to your back.

If you really want to know what your friends are like go on a week or longer road trip with them.

Motorcycle riders know why dogs stick their heads out of car windows. (Yea, I know that's an old one, but it's true.)

When in doubt, throttle out. (my pops motto)

If you have to think about it, don't do it.

If it seems like a bad idea, it's probably a good one.

ALWAYS listen to that voice in the back of your head(which i rarely do).

if you tell your friends " hay, watch this!", make sure your insurance is paid up.
