Default My bike is finished (well almost)

Well I got the ironhead back on the road after a major makeover spanning the last couple of months.I still have to get a fender but I have been putting back money for the one I want and sometimes things come up! HAHA

A couple of pics taken in my front yard with some of my metalflake helmet collection. (Don't tell my wife I had my bike on the grass!)

From the carshow my club put on this weekend

My nephew and I.

My nephew on my friends shovelhead at the show.

Santee weld on.It lowers and lengthens the bike 4". It didn't fit very good I had to massage it to fit right.

It looks finished to me man. Good work. I like no fenders and just a tits frisco metal flake tank. Love it. What year is the iron head? I'm looking to buy one of these myself? Hope you get loads of good times on it.

I like the hard tail. It doesn't have that weird kink where the origanal frame meets the hard tail. Can't wit to see the bike with a fender.

It's a 1971 kick only bike. Yeah the no fender thing seems to scare the shit out of everyone it's funny the reactions it gets.

Yeah I had to trim off alot of the seat tube and I split the backone and plated it to continue that line all the way to the axle plate. I post some build shots if I can find them to explain.

Some build shots would be cool. Got any detailed ones of the hardtail going on?

"duh" just reread the, to explain part.

Well sorry I can't seem to find the pictures my old laptop crashed and I lost alot of stuff. I rode the bike out to the old air force base here in town to watch an aerobatics competition today and apparrently it isn't charging and the bike let me down after I left and got a little ways down the road. I was amazed at all the late model harleys that just blew past me while I sat on the side of the road for over an hour waiting for my wife to get out of kick boxing class and come pick me up and take me to get my truck. Some of them smiled and waved as they kept going! HAHA

Sell a couple of those helmets and you'd be able to buy any fender. Seriously nice bike, though, and good job with the helmet.
