Default Anyone else have Joker Machine master cylinders that leak?

I have one of their J-Tech 11/16" bore hydraulic clutch m/c set-ups & the damn thing has dribbled DOT 5 from day one!

The only way it won't is if I cock the handlebars to the right when parking, which means I can't use the neck lock.

It appears that in place of a vent hole in the m/c cover, they cut a notch on the left side of the body...talk about stupid-ass "engineering" on such a pricey part.
A friend of mine also has one & it suffers the same fate.

Other than filling in with JB Weld, shaping & sanding the notch in the m/c body, does anyone have any ideas on fixing this problem.

Get rid of that vent and drill one into the top cap as in stock Harley. Vents to under the gasket.

That's what I'm thinking, Dave.
Either go through the whole JB Weld bullshit or just put a silicone plug in there from a tube of black RTV to match the gasket.

I just can't believe they did something so MIckey Mouse on such an expen$ive part.
It just boggles the imagination...

Mine was leaking a couple years ago (JX style like yours). & I was
at a bike show& the Joker guys had a vendor booth, So I talked with one of the Dudes about my leaky master cylinder & He said that the early production runs had this problem, & that they made changes, & He took my info down & sent me a new "Revised" cap & gasket. problem solved.

I would give them a call, They have really good customer service.

That's exactly what I'd do and ditto on the customer service.
