Wasn't that gold one in the magazine a WCC bike?

Ha JayBee, Bike in a Box, that's funny, I count 7 boxes so far. If it were a bike in a box I would be riding it now.

The tank was fabbed by Tigman at www.tanksbytigman.com after I glued up some 2" rigid pink insulation foam and shaved it with a wood rasp and countoured it with sandpaper. I put it in a BOX and shipped it to him. He put my exact steel replica in a BOX and shipped it back to me.

The frame I haven't seen on eBay for about two years, I got mine about 6 years ago in a crumpled up cardboard BOX and it is identical to the one in the picture except it accepts a 240mm rear tire. Robert Symms Customs (no not Simms) was supposed to produce the same frame but his website is no longer functional but he is named in all kinds of website links and one has a picture of a frame he supplied which I now can attach here haha.

The only detail I couldn't replicate from the gold bike was the front end which is a Paioli unit from Italy. I got hold of them and they wanted $2800 shipped to the U.S. and that was not happening. I just found the entire front end on eBay and got it shipped to me for $850 so I am pretty happy right now to say the least. Oh and they are sending it in a BOX.

I hope you didn't think that is a picture of my bike above. Mine is still in a thousand pieces and will look nothing like that short of the frame. That purple bike is one that I found on the web with the frame built by Robert Symms. The pictures of the bike and tank in raw form with all the parts gathered around it a couple of posts ago is my bike how it sits today. I hope to be up and running for 2009 season. Money and time....... It's a close race for which one I have less of.....

where you blokes looking,, fxr frame's are ugly,, too long in the back end,, all out of proportion,, the seat area is just all wrong,, hd just ripped the frame design off the jap's anyway, pick any one of the big 4, yam honda etc, they might handle ok but the frame could have been designed to look a bit more pleasing to the eye, those designer's at hd are getting their money for nothing, and i can see a lot of people think fxr's are cool just because a lot of ha's ride them,, sad,

Hey BIG WHEELS bloke, we can tell you do most of your riding on the internet. It's like an old 'Iron Butt' rider told me in 1985 sitting on his 150,000 mile '84 FXRT, " she is not the best LOOKING girl at the dance, but she damn sure is the BEST DANCER there". Sooooo, I bought one and now it has over 200,000 miles. MY '84 FXRT handles as well as my '88 BMW K75. Just ask the HAMPSTERS that I blow by in the Black Hills on their wideglide forward controlled fxr trailer queens!!! haha.

That frame was fabricated by prostreet framworks in oklahoma. I used to work there and we did that frame for jesse.
