One I tried to buy a few years back. Sport Scout in a vertical Warrior frame. Owner thought it was made of gold.

My little Scout. I plan on making it a little more period correct and have some nice flanders risers and a clutch driven magneto to add. Also some crusty, original running boards and a crocker style rear light. Only problem is the bike is in storage 12,000 miles away from me

^^ note the indian kicker but left side chain trans ?

most choppers in USA have been turned into restos while in OZ and NZ , indians are still being built into choppers

the restos are harder in Oz cause parts are so hard to find.....

left side chain is because behind the trans is a crossover shaft to allow clearance for the wider rear tire

The tank is something different, oil tank must be under seat.
the gear lever says its a 741

wonder what that tank is from ?

That's interesting, it looks like the mag is driven from the generator spot. I wonder how it goes at half engine speed?

( hope this reply isn't as poor as mine in #41)

engine sprocket on 741, SS, chief is 24T, off take drive is 24T , then 2:1 gears drive the magneto
