Default Pan rigid frame question???????

Im looking for a rigid frame for a Pan/4 speed combo. Stock dimensions on the rake, no stretch. I thought Pauchco made these in the past JUST FOR Pan /Shovels. Now looking at them they also fit EVO motors. That means with a Pan Engine there will be that space above the rear cylinder. Now I know its not a big space but it bothers the shit out of me.

The V-twin replica is nice but pricey and I was just wondering if anyone else was making a stock geometry Pan /Shovel frame. If not I may have to save my pennies cause that gap is a no go for me. Thanks

I am with you its pretty big too. a older frame would not.I see them from time to time they usaly dont have numbers cause everybody used motor numbers. another option is chopped oem. here is a link to one for sale on the horse board > http://www.network54.com/Forum/47852...hovel+frame%21 I think you guys are sort close by? he says it needs work? but it takes money or skill but everything good cost

The early pan/shovel Paughco frames also had quite a bit of clearance over the rear head.
I bought the frame for the red/white bike in the late 80's or early 90's. It is Pan/Shovel specific. Look at the clearance between the rocker cover and the FatBobs.
The black bike is also a Pan/Shovel frame. There is so much clearance there that I bought an second set of CCE finned aluminum rocker boxes, so I could use the fully finned front rocker box on the back head.
I included a shot with the stock CCE rear cover too.
The Santee frames I've seen fit a little tighter there.
