Default Friday Art 10/23/15

let's get the ball rolling. Old First-Aid box, re-purposed as a tattoo machine box, for a friend. Flat black with Bright Red, Medium Grey, White, and Black pinstripe.

More is better than less. Threads combined!

That box is slick. One day if I bring a case of beer over can you give me a crash-course in striping?

Not to get way off-topic, but I did know that. Or do I need to just pick up a striping brush, a pane of glass, and some one-shot and figure it out? Is there anything to teach, or does one just practice and "get it" eventually?

there are definitely some things that can be taught, but doing it will teach as much if not more.

Another thing I did awhile back , but I like to post something. At least it is bike related. The number one thing in striping to pay attention to is PAINT CONSISTENCY. Too thin will drive you nuts . Too thick ,brush skips. If you flop the brush back and forth and feel the right drag your paint is good. Took me three years to figure that out .

That rocker seat would bring about an improvement in my personal hygiene: clean trousers at all times!

This is called "Perspective monsters ate my generic British twin."

Wingfoot Express Ratso? Love your perspektiveless cartoon style drawings.

Friday art is always a treat. From rocking chairs to medical tattoo boxes the unexpected is always guaranteed.
