Default 1978 Ironhead build

Started with a hacked up tweaker job and trying to get road ready.
I'll post pics as the progress goes on.

I noticed it doesn't have an oil filter. I happen to have a remote filter set up so would the filter go from the tank to the oil pump or where in the oiling cycle would it go best?

put the filter in the the line returning oil from the engine oil pump to the top of the oil tank.

note there is also a case vent line, make sure you identify your oil pump correctly—don't put the filter on this vent line.

be sure you have the correct filter for your oil pump—you can easily back up the oil if you're using the wrong filter. All filters are not created equal.
