That turned out terrific! Nice work. Beautiful result.
I especially like the "manual CNC" work in pic #4. (nibble to the line - I've done that many times myself) |

I want to be able to run either a tube fork or Fury Girder on my KHK chopper and I wanted internal fork stops that would work with both front ends. I turned some neck stems and then ball milled grooves that line up with two threaded holes I drilled in the steering head of the frame I put together back in ‘80. The ball radius on the screw tips rides in the grooves and gives me 32 deg. swing either side.

Looks good, do you have a liner in it to protect from the ethanol in the gasoline?

The UK only has 5% ethanol, which helps a bit too. |

Ditchpump, I looked back a couple of pages but if you've posted about that frame, I missed it. Please say a little about it, or direct me to where you've already done so, if you don't mind. What engine is it meant to accommodate (just for starters)?
Thanks. The tank is swell work.

Works just dandy!
I make mine out of appropriately sized bolts. Look closely at the pic, two drills, one through the size of the cable, next part way for flare. Dip in flux, then COB solder pot. Works like it cost $$$! ![]()

OK, I follow... and then a quick dunk?
How bad is the cleanup after the dip in lead?
