Clutch Arm/Foot shift question

I searched the threads and came up with no result, question is I have a 50 fl with a hand clutch foot shift, however the clutch arm I have looks to be a later one, and it interferes with the oil bag plate, somebody cut out the centre of the plate in order for it to work. I also have the bracket that is angled inward to adjust the clutch cable. I just ordered a re-pop pan oil bag and plan to correct this issue. I realize I probably need the long clutch arm that clears the underside of the bag, but what bracket do I use? I found a mousetrap eliminator (long) bracket but it looks odd. first 2 pics are what I currently have.

Yep, If you want to keep the horseshoe oil tank and not run a mousetrap with hand clutch, you right on track. yes, you need what you have in pics 3 and 4.

1. you need the longer, kinda dorky looking cable bracket
2. and you need the stock style clutch arm, but you'll want to shorten it and add another hole for the cable end.

one thing, is that you'll lose some cable pull because of the ratio. so, setting up the clutch may be a little trickier than it would be with the later clutch arm or the mousetrap.

Can I use a mousetrap eliminator kit with the shorter arm?
With the 1950 oil tank that is?

There is one more clutch arm out there that is not pictured ( short arm ) that might work under the harley oil tank with the short bracket, can someone else please confirm this?

I believe any short steel one will work. May or may not need a little torch heat and bending.
