I can't really add much to what is already said, so I'll just concur that the lines will probably wrinkle with a good coat of clear. The longer you let it cure, the better your odds are of a clean outcome. The 1-Shot hardener helps, and HOK striping paint is made to be cleared over.

You have the right idea by just letting it be. 1-shot is tough as hell, and traditionally striping wasnt cleared over. Cart looks pretty good, btw. Don't touch it, I'm sure your daughter will be stoked.
