Re: show me your flat trackers and desert racers

French Owl? Patrick, you there?

In the image in your post #842 above, what does "culbuteurs" mean in this context? Google Translate comes up with "rockers," which sounds promising but not that...

Re: show me your flat trackers and desert racers

Is that a quarter-mile track? Seems even shorter. And are all three bikes Vincent powered? Never got a good look at the bike bringing up the rear. I mean, at its engine.

Re: 1940 knucklehead

Real fine looking motorbike, that.

Where do those apes put your hands, relative to your shoulders? Are you a tall fella? I don't think I could live with them, but creeping old age has dwindled me...

Re: 1966 Bsa 650 on a budget

Shock and spring look a whole lot better with a lick a paint on them. It's nice overall, man. I slightly feared that all the brass might give the bike a too-much-doodads look, but they come out good...

Re: 58 Pan Newbie

You're going to know quite a bit about panheads when you've finished rehabilitating that bike. Thanks for showing it to us, and please update as you proceed.

Re: Flyrite Choppers 7 Deadly Sins - Rebuild

That seems a much nicer than usual front end. Is it a one-off, or storebought?

Pretty swell bike in every respect, far as I can see. Thanks for showing us.

Re: New (Old) Member.

That's a real goodlooking pan. Thanks for showin' us.

Re: 1966 Bsa 650 on a budget

Re: 1966 Bsa 650 on a budget

I hope this isn't such an off-the-wall non sequitur as to irritate anybody. It just seemed so odd I couldn't let it pass. Will gladly take this post down if it gets on Mike's nerves or anyone else's....
