Rear fender hand hold help wanted

G'day ,
My wife is currently building a pre unit late 50's style custom she is doing a hand hold style rear fender support (short sissy bar ). Currently we have made a 5mm thick (just over 3/16")...

just to be safe avoid welding where braze has been it will contaminate your weld pool and give you a poor quality joint

Crackle paint and vreeble do not look like cracked paint caused by age.
Fake patina definitely has its place , alot of original bikes would look stupid if a replacement part is not matched to the...

If they are flat ,No .If the are distorted(usually concave due to being over tightened by previous owners who think if some is good more is better) I would .
It only needs a light touch with a end...

Zeeman, yep $3500 is seems to be the bottom/mid range end of the scale depending on who you talk to (these are guys who actually have sold them).$6500 is for top quality original and more can be...
