Many of the aftermarket plates must have the slots elongated for proper timing. I've had the best results with genuine plates from the factory.

That is what I was thinking too, not being able to get anything in the actual joint. Just looking for a semi-acceptable fix for now.

Looks interesting, but no seals on the case. When I assembled them, I used a sealer from Loctite.
