The guy I am installing the tires for is getting worried that the Duro tires say tube type and they are going onto a mag.Will try again tonight to fit them on.Mario

I know here we go,Duro tires are crap,they fall apart,they blow up and so on and so on.I have run them and shinko for years with no problems at all.Now I just got a pair of Duro HF308 for a mag wheel...

That is also what I am finding and again I am not sure if the the guy who put my case halfs together left the inner seal on the bearing but out of curiosity I will have to ask him

I can see by peeling back the seal that goes behind the front sprocket that he left the seal on the bearing but I can not tell if the other side of the bearing still has it's seal on or if he removed...

Yes it is the shaft that is in buddys right hand but my 1970 shaft does not tapper down in size just the one end has a small flat spot on it and is to go into the case 1st,like I said I am 99.9% sure...

Turns out the org bearing I had was correct for the bike (c3)but the inner of the bearing was worn because the rotor nut must have not been tightened down all the way,well the rebuilding begins...

So if I read that right a loose bearing like a c3 is better than a c2?More harm to be done if the bearing was a tighter fit?Just go ahead with reinstalling a new c3?

Can not get the bearing out of the case,lots of heat and some tapping from the other end.Can you over heat the case using the green propane bottle torch?This one is being a pain!

Got my 70 650 down to cases and a crank no up and down play on the rods but lots (have not measured yet) of side to side play just with using my hands.Now is that because I have the pinon gear off...
