I have an all original, 1973 H-D Shovelhead engine and 4 speed trans that I'm using for a project right now. When the bike is finished I'm still going to have to figure out how to title it.

My brother bought an "08 Nightster a few months ago and loves it. His is all black and mat with a 21" spoke up front. The rims are powdercoated black also. I have to agree these are probably the best...

Did H-D use VIN type identification numbers on ratchet top 4 speeds? I have 2 of them and they both have the same number (34703 65) cast into the bottom of the case. Any help would be greatly...

I agree 100%. I've got about 700 enginge break in/shakedown miles on my bike. Every mile ridden in rust. So far I've had to modify the side stand placement, rear brake caliper stay, petcock location...
