From my experiences with pre 55 pans which went to the timken bottom end as you rightfully mentioned. There's a way to upgrade to post 55 timken but it's a lot of work, you may get away with a light...

Yeah it works, I know from experience with my panhead when it was running temp it had no oil pressure per se. Take that what you will.. as long as it's returning to the bag.

As Liam mentioned some people don't like solids, I would never run a bike without.. hydro's tend to fail.. Solids are a safer bet. A little noisier but it's a small price to pay!

Plenty online if you look about the illustrious INA bearing, if it goes, and it could, usually results in catastrophic failure.. usually ruins the engine. Definitely worth a quick recap on it.

Looks super clean! wiring is a dark art to me... it's why I run a mag on all my bikes, I have literally two wires to keep in check lol.
