The reason they get restored to original condition is because they are rare and worth a lot of money these days...if this didn't happen there would likely be very little of some classic bikes...

That is definitely a DB or DBD34 engine the restored bikes go for 25K upwards.;)

Probably built in the UK in the late 60s dont forget there where a limited assortment of bikes in those days....you use what you can and you could buy a Black Shadow for 10....some would say this is...

AFAIK the lengths where the same its just the later added an internal O ring for better sealing but it could be that the head has been skimmed other than that i presume you cant fit the rubber and...

Yes they work fine on my laptop but the older images are still huge, i went into the forum menu and tried the image sizing option but none of the settings actually changed anything, i also use Imgur...

I see the images are Imgur...so if you select the image you want to post and scroll to the bottom you will have options for the pic size ...just click medium or large thumbnail and then the BB code...

The thing to look out for is that a lot of aftermarket electronic ignitions are power hungry and dont like low voltage...i think Boyer are not too bad...i still run Lucas RITA on my Trident and its...

If your referring to my Trident its a custom frame and AFAIK they never had a std oil in frame, but i believe they had planned to use an oil in frame but decided to just keep it simple...just as well...

Normally apart from the return tube in the oil tank being well above the oil level which helps with the feed the top of the return tube is usually crimped slightly to cause a restriction which helps...

Sounds like there is still some kind of blockage...maybe its cooked oil debris stuck somewhere in the drillings or the metal feed pipe, i always used to restrict the flow on most of the Triumphs i...
