That looks like a pre unit triumph frame.

Somewhere there is a write up on this bike... I can't find anymore pictures at the moment. The owner is a member of the Mass BIA club....

I believe those reproductions are made by Lytedrive who is/was a member here. They were designed to use a pre unit style Joe Hunt magneto.

I assembled the top end on my T100 both ways... Oil on the cylinder walls and pistons led to glazed bores.

Assembling the top end with the cylinders dry after a 120 grit hone led to a good ring...

I believe the grind/profile is the same... The difference is the points drive on the exhaust cam for the unit motor, and also the provision for the breather disc on the intake.

Interesting, I've never seen on laced that way... I thought they were all laced to the inside since the outside is the part of the hole that is countersunk...

1. Should I assume the offset is 1.438" (FSM offset for 19" WM2) + .45"? I'm using a WM0 rim, FSM specifies offset for WM2,...
