that grooving will be ya problem, when the clutch is released the plates to some degree will not want to slide out into their relaxed state & when you release the clutch they will be jumping back...

today I got my new Cannonball stealth starter all wired up & a new S&S oil pump fitted so had a quick fire up ...
all good except the oil pressure gauge pissed it's pants & spewed all the gauge oil...

there have been 2 British Bikes amongst many I have owned that I regret selling, first was my 1949 Panther 600 I chopped in about 76 & an 850MK2A Norton Commando I bought in 79,... I know Panthers...

personally I prefer BSA's over Triumphs,.. the A10 range are lovely bikes and built I believe with better overall quality, Triumph owners will not agree but as I said, it's MY personal preferance,......

they may pass a DOT test, but a baseball cap would, thats why America is just about the only country world wide where a DOT pass is accepted as meaning a helmet is safe, nowhere in over 50 countries...

cheap lids offer little if any protection, you can spend $5k for a real good race lid that will protect you best but buy the best you can afford, avoid any made in China, India or Tiawan as they are...

the magneto head is the same but if fitted to a generator shovel you need a longer shaft, if on a cone shovel with a conversion nose cone cam cover the sporty ones will fit as is, some but not all...

the axle does the job on the left with a spacer, on mine the forks have a bottom fork cap/clamp on both sides, what forks do you have ?... if there are 2 bottom fork caps all i do is loosen the axle...

standard for taper roller bearings on Harley wheels, just gotta be careful & methodical putting the Axle in, well greased up bearings & spacer helps
