Just thought I'd post an update to this if anyone is interested? Tracked down previous owner. Spent a bit of time and cash doing a bit of a conversion and then did a bit of dirt dragging on it....

Thanks for this lead, I have now tracked down the previous owner. It only took 7 days! I'll post some pictures shortly, once its running again.

Feed line: this should screw onto the bottom of the filter on the tank

Top of oil tank to bottom of crank case? You mean to the back of the primary case perhaps?

Measured the spokes: 10 Gauge-3.2 mm both ends. Still thinking about rebuilding with correct gauge spokes and correct bends. Surely if the originally had 8/10 gauge there is a reason for it.

Hi Eric,

You are right
8-10 GAUGE SPOKES with .300" DIAMETER NIPPLES from buchanans.

It also says some years Triumph used 9 gauge. 10 gauge are also listed in triumph parts lists. Anyone...

I didn't lace the wheels myself. I have just purchased an unfinished project.
The wheels (2) were built by a pro? shop. I would be thinking the "experts" would be able to figure out the correct way...
