Re: 4 1/2 gallons of bad gas

Use it to clean parts first. Then take it to recycle center. May as well get some use out of it.

Re: Can you identify this OIl tank?

Another thing you might think about if no one will chrome it is paint it to match your gas tank. Have it de-chromed first, then do your welding (your welder will thank you!) The platers may not want...

Re: Can you identify this OIl tank?

I'd weld up the crack and run it like it is until you can find another one with better chrome, or until next winter and have this one rechromed. I had an old muffler that I needed rechromed for a...

Re: Help us find the rest! AEE

I would think at least one or two would still be out there, if not all four. Somewhere in a shed...

Re: My 61/68 triumph/BSA long bike

Re: 1970 Ironhead Digger Build, the "Pot Brownie"

Well, you made someone in NZ happy. What if you'd kept Pot Brownie the bike and sold actual pot brownies to finance the flathead?

Re: My 61/68 triumph/BSA long bike

Not a BSA frame. At least not a factory one, could be an aftermarket BSA frame altered to hold the Trump motor. You may already have HD style bearings. If it is set up for BSA bearings, there are...

Linkert DC Carb Rebuild Sheet

I've looked about and have come up empty. Anyone know of a link to some rebuild instructions for a Linkert DC12? Pretty simple carb, but before I pull it apart would be nice to know things such as...

Re: speed dealer

I bought one of their gas caps a while back. Very well made, shipped quick, and they seemed to really care if I was happy with everything. I'd would absolutely buy from them again.

Re: Scrapyard Score! 3 ton American made Famco arbor press!
