A few quick questions if I may, was the frame already drilled for the front fuel tank mount? I assume it's where the original whole in the casting is where the top and bottom casting...

No Amals and no K2F and it shouldn't be a problem. There's a vid on U tube of a guys bike catching fire and burning because of what you describe.
