Re: Japanese custom built from scratch

You should see the parts he sells! He makes some incredible narrow triple trees. They're extremely expensive, but the craftsmanship is top notch. It's art.

Re: Born Free 5 winner - Noise Cycles bike

Re: The best knuckleheads

Anyone own one of those KN93 S&S Knuckleheads? Would love to get some insight on 'em from someone who's had one for awhile.

That first one especially is really nice. I'm surprised more people aren't doing these mods. Those bikes look great without the enormous tanks, seats, and rear fenders.

Re: hard starting shovelhead

I appreciate the helpful offer. I didn't call you up because I didn't want to bother you with it. I figured, we made this deal, whatever happens is my problem now. You know? Still, I know you have...

Haha. 'Ride like an asshole style'.. I dig it.

Got a new petcock on the carb and always keep the thing off. Once I scrape together some more money I'll take your advice and get a Pingel on this...

Re: hard starting shovelhead

Sorry to hear about the FXR. I just read through your thread. The Shovel's been in the shop for a few months now getting some headwork done. Also needed to be re-ringed, etc. Hoping the rings being...

Almost went with Fred's myself at one point, but when I scrape together enough dough, the Kate Moss Springer is what I'm looking at here:

Re: hard starting shovelhead

I read through this thread because of a similar problem and it turned out that the battery was my issue. Charged it up, kicked the bike over a few times, and bang -- problem solved. Thanks Racepres....

Re: Wide-Glide tube diameter.

Browsing through eBay for a few minutes now and you're exactly right. Many of these 'Touring' models have the style of legs I was after. Any knowledge off-hand of the axle sizes? Did they ever change...

Re: Wide-Glide tube diameter.

Thanks Bob. How long did they make the sliders like that? Which model names did they all go by? Assuming that style wasn't just the Hydraglide. I'm doing a narrow 41mm front end and want to get the...

Re: Wide-Glide tube diameter.

Good info in this thread.

Not to hijack, but what about fork sliders/lower legs? I have a set of 2000 Wide Glides. When I compare the looks of these to pictures of, say, Hydraglide fork...
